Home is where the heart is

My friend, Alison, took me to Jon and Judy’s farm while I was recovering from knee replacement surgery in the spring of 2000. While Alison was care-giving me she was also care-taking the Lien’s goats and chickens while they were on a trip to visit family in the States.

My memories of the Lien farm was of warm, welcoming community. I remember wishing I could meet them and spend time with them at their home but soon after I returned to live in the US and the opportunity never arose.
I wish Judy and her children well for I know they will be missing Jon’s presence for a long, long time.
