Kids in the bucket

I have very fond memories of Jon. My friend Alison Dyer took me and my children when they were still small to Jon’s and Judy’s organic farm, whenever we came for a visit (we live on the west coast). They absolutely loved seeing the chickens and other animals. A children’s paradise. Jon very enthusiastically showed us how he and Judy grew organic produce and this continues to be a great inspiration for me. My most striking memory of Jon, however, is when he told the children to go sit in the bucket of his tractor and hoisted them up high into the air! It was obvious that he not only loved whales and all kinds of other animals, but children as well. May you continue to inspire people, Jon. Thanks for the memories! And Judy, I’m thinking of you.
